A Sugar Ray Leonard vs Roberto Duran broadside. The first event that the Robinson’s (they bought the Gardens in the late 1970s) had was a close circuit television event at the Gardens. The boxing match was held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (this was the first meeting between these two great boxers).
