A Mira Fujita offset lithograph. Japanese artist, Mira Fujita is known for the way in which she depicts both graceful feminine beauty and a strength that borders on aloofness. The illustration features a girl with long flowing brown hair and flowers placed throughout her hair. The work is plate signed, plate dated and plate placed, ‘Paris’, to the lower left corner. The work is matted on core mat and ready to frame. Mira Fujita paints in the jojo-ga style, a genre of illustrations or paintings of women portrayed in a lyrical style that was popular from the 1920s to 1960s.
