Replica Civil War Era Ames Short Sword

Item Details

A replica Civil War era Ames short sword. Entire piece is made to look like a circa 1830 Union foot soldier short sword used prolifically during the American Civil War. Handle is made of metal with a brass finish with two eagle stamps along the pommel and a simple, split guard. Blade has an N.P. Ames brand, but is not dated, numbered, or stamped for the United States, making this a more modern replica. Scabbard is made of the same metal as the handle at the ends with a leather middle.
