A gilt bronze statuette after listed artist Alexandre-Auguste Caron (French, 1857 – 1932). This replica depicts a Neo-Classical style nude woman covering her eyes and holding a cloth. The work includes an inscribed signature reading ‘A. Caron’ to the raised pedestal. The figure is attached to a quartz base.
