A vintage Deco-Tel Personal Telephone comes in a navy leather box-like case with brown wood-look trim. This phone is also known as the Jewlery Box Phone or the Spy Phone. The DECO-TEL executive desk telephone has a gold tone rotary dial and retractable coiled handset cord. It is mounted in a protective case, so the controls and cables are kept neat and protected from exposure to the elements. The case itself resembles a fancy cigar box with plastic wood-toned edges and padded leather cushions on the top and sides. This is an American Telecommunications Corporation Deco-Tel Personal Phone of El Monte (California), is model 0213, and was sold 12-31-1983.
