A large signed rooster from Italy. This emphatic statue depicts a rooster with his wings outstretched, tail flexed, and mouth wide open in a morning call. The rooster’s comb, beak and wattle are highlighted in gold tone, and parts of his tail, mane, and his scaly legs are dark grey, with the rest of his plumage in a light pastel teal. A marking to the underside reads ‘Ronzan Made in Italy 924_C’.
