An offset lithograph reproduction of an image by well-listed Canadian Inuit sculptor and printmaker Kananginak Pootoogook (1935 – 2010), titled Snow Buntings. Pootoogook’s work often celebrated and explored wildlife of his homeland and cultural practices of his people. The print depicts a male and female snow bunting swooping together towards the ground. The artist’s signature is printed to the lower right and its title is printed to the lower center margin. An embossed blindstamp from ‘The Minimark Press’ is visible to the lower right. The print is triple-matted in complementing shades of brown and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire.
