An ornately decorated carved wood tabletop grandfather clock. This clock features an oak colored finish with an ornately carved batwing shaped bonnet featuring a carved fleur-di-lis center medallion surrounded by daisy like flowers and scrolling accents. The hinged coffin shaped door frame is double beveled, and is flanked by two carved wooden wings to its sides. The door features gilded peacocks, songbirds, floral and geometric motifs on the glass panel. The cream Roman numeral face features a gadrooned inner frame accent, and french style clock hands. The brass tone pendulum has scrolled and fan accents. The cabinet’s back is solid panel that attaches to the hollow, backless bottom stand. The stand features a trapezoidal shape with beveled edges at the top and bottom. The key is included.
