A collection of seven antique tintypes. A tintype is a photograph created by a direct positive on a metal-coated sheet with a lacquer or enamel and can be negatively affected by prolonged exposure to light. These tintypes feature individual men, women and children posing for the camera in an antique wooden chair and are framed with a gold-toned tin frame with star and leaf patterns on the borders.
