A set of first edition Daniel Deronda books in four volumes written by George Eliot and published in 1876 by William Blackwood and Son, Edinburgh and London. Mary Ann Evans (1819-1880) was an English author and poet known by her pen name, George Eliot. Daniel Deronda was the last novel written by George Eliot and the only novel of hers that was set in her present day Victorian society. This four volume set was published by William Blackwood and Sons. The books are bound in the original leather binding.
Condition
To fair: Wear is consistent with age and use. There is an inscription on the inside covers written in pencil. There is some damage to the spines on vol. I and II.
