Vintage Cast Iron Toys
Item Details
A pair of vintage cast iron toys. The first piece features a wagon drawn by eight horses. The wagon has a red body with blue accent lines and a white under carriage. It is driven by two removable figurines panted green. The individual horse teams are connected with linked metal bars, gold tone chains, and plastic reins that reach back to the driver’s hands. The wagon top is marked with a ‘Champion’ sticker. The second is a 1930s style delivery truck with a green body and yellow accenting and a black undercarriage. The body is marked ‘S. Malatesta & Sons Mowing and Storage’. The truck bed contains several carved wooden casks.
