A signed original acrylic on paper painting by Indiana artist Doris Vlasek Hails (1938-2004). Painted in vibrant orange, red, yellow, blue, and green, this dynamic non-objective acrylic painting depicts layers of geometric shapes. Mounted on white board, the painting is signed on the board to the lower left and is displayed in a gold tone wooden frame with white mat. Hanging hardware is located on the verso of the frame. Originally from Chicago, Vlasek Hails studied art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and later moved to Indianapolis where she taught art at the John Herron Art Institute.
Condition
There are a few chips to the frame.
