An original vintage oil on canvas coastal painting, signed by artist M. Andrea in paint to the lower left. The picturesque scene depicts a brightly striated sunset coasting washes of color across waves rolling into a rocky shoreline. A tall lighthouse stands at the top of the rocks overlooking the scene. Little is known about this artist, but this signature appears on several mid-century paintings of lighthouses. The painting is presented in a wooden frame with gold tone finish and white linen lining. A wire is attached to the verso for hanging.
