Laura Ballis Cast Bronze Sculpture "Eclisse"
Item Details
A cast bronze sculpture titled Eclisse (Eclipse) by Italian sculptor Laura Ballis (b. Alleghe, 1957). It is of a female bust, with an extended neck, her head turned, raised and slightly inclined, with a high sweep of hair. It is signed, incised within the cast metal, at the collar bone ‘Ballis ’86’. It is mounted to an irregular curving three sided hard wood base, with a high gloss varnished finish.
