A large and colorful serigraph by noted resort artist Howard Behrens (Chicago 1933-2014), signed and numbered. The textural print depicts a Mediterranean inlet with homes on hillside and boats on the water. The print is numbered XLII/C (42/100) and is signed by the artist in the lower margin. Presented under glass, the print is beautifully finished in a beige silk mat and a wood frame in an antiqued gold finish.
Howard Behrens specialized serigraphs that illustrated European resorts, his travels served as his inspiration.
