A vintage No. 4 Dazey butter churn. The glass jar butter churn has a metal, screw-on lid to which the churn’s handle and shaft are attached. the metal shaft passes through the lid into the jar, and features a set of three wooden paddles that churn the cream when the handle is turned. The handle is attached to the mechanism mounted on the lid, and is made of metal with a wood handle. The lid is marked “Dazey Churn No. 4 4 QT.”
