Circa 1950s Royal Staffordshire "Jenny Lind" Dinnerware Set

A Royal Staffordshire dinnerware set in the Jenny Lind 1795. pattern. This collection includes six dinner plates, twelve luncheon plates, fourteen bread plates, four dinner bowls, two teacups, and two saucers. The design is in rose pinks upon an off white ground includes a large waving lattice border with a wreath of a berried vine, and four Palladian styled neoclassical manor houses. The central scenes depict a gentile picnicking party, before a multi-turreted castle in a mountainous landscape. This pattern was created to honor the famous 18th century opera signer, Jenny Lind. Stamped with the Royal Staffordshire Pottery England makers mark.
