Vintage Friedrich Mauthe Divina Gong Wall Clock

Item Details

A vintage mahogany Friedrich Mauthe Divina Gong wall clock, circa 1920s. The clock has a curved and split pediment with a small carved, applied foliate detail to the top. The face is white with a brass-toned band and black Arabic numerals and simple hands. There are two key arbors at the lower front of the face. Winding key is present. The lower portion features a hinged, latching beveled glass door with an arched design. Behind the glass is the compartment for the pendulum, which is silver/gold-toned on a wood stave with brass hanging hook and finial. The clock is marked ‘Divina Gong’ to the interior. Condition

- to fair. Pieces are unattached, some pieces may be missing. Unable to be tested. The face of the clock is not completely connected to case. Scratches throughout. Winding key is present.
