A Chokin Asian inspired 24k yellow gold edged trinket box. Round black two piece keepsake box with a portrait of a Japanese woman in traditional dress on a red background with white and yellow flowers surrounding her. The center of the box is accented by 24k yellow gold. A note attached to the bottom states, ‘Chokin, The Art of Chokin, metal engravings from Japan are created by the ancient art of Chokin. Gilded with gold and silver, the engravings were originally created to decorate the armamnent of the Samurai warriors. 24KT gold edged. Made in Japan.’
