Antique Bank Teller Equipment
Item Details
A collection of antique bank teller equipment. Included is an antique (circa 1890s) cast iron bank teller coin counting stand (not mechanical), which features nickel plating, and is marked ‘Lamson’ to the side, along with ‘Pat. July 7, 9’ in raised lettering to the stand. The top tray is made of cast iron, designed to hold stacks of coins in monetary increments. To the front are vertical, nickel-plated columns, made to stack coins in increments of $100, $50, $25, $10, $5 and $1, in order to create rolls of coins. Also included is an antique wooden box with rounded corners fitted with brass, with brass hook clasps, marked ‘Whitney Duplicating Check Co.’ to the brass label on the front, along with the company name, address and ‘Pat. March 10 April 5th 1904 Aug. 25th 1908’. The box contains a nearly full set (1 piece missing) of nickel-plated steel monetary units (marked ‘Whitney System’) which went to an unknown banking machine.

Wood set appears to be missing one piece
