A ceramic gurgling jug, or ‘Gluggle Jug’ fish by Wade Ceramics. These classic ‘gurgling jug’ ceramic New England Cod fish by Wade Ceramics are named for the bubbling, gurgling sound they make when pouring from them. This molded ceramic fish is glazed inward and outward, and appears to be leaping out of the water, with jaws wide open. The bottom of the jug is marked ‘Gluggle Jug, Wade, Stoke on Trend, England’ on the bottom. The 8’ tall jug is considered the ‘large’ size by Wade, whose capacity is listed at 24 ounces.
