Vintage Navajo Yei Corn People Woven Rug
Item Details
A Navajo Yei Corn People accent rug. This rug features an ivory background with a depiction of five Yei figures, where one of the figures protects the four other figures on three sides. The Yei are depicted facing forward with short, straight legs and elongated bodies. The Yei are shown holding arrows and the color scheme includes mocha, sky blue, peach, rust and steel blue. The long “tail” wraps under the four Yei and comes up on the opposite side. The rug has wool strands at each of the four corners for hanging. Unmarked.
