Vintage Nippon Violin
Item Details
A vintage Nippon violin. The violin has a spruce body with maple back and sides. The neck and fingerboard appear to be ebony. The chin rest is detached but included. Also comes with bow that will need to have hairs replaced. Nice scroll and tail piece. The bridge is detached but included. This violin an interior label that says Trademark and Nippon and was made in pre WWII Japan. The violin dates to 1890s to 1920s. The piece would need to be restored. Comes with wooden case which has a large crack on the top.
