Circa 1870 Mahogany Hall Tree

Item Details

A circa 1870 mahogany hall tree. This piece features a curved pediment with incised borders, inset panels with an ornate ovoid medallion at the center. Four wooden arms are set horizontally above a rectangular mirror framed by two vertical arms on either side. A serpentine edged umbrella and cane rest is situated between two carved panels. Additional features include ‘c’ scroll carvings above and below the umbrella hold.
