1959 Mexico 20 Pesos (Restrike) Gold Coin Pendant
Item Details
A 1959 Mexico 20 Pesos (restrike) gold coin pendant. The pendant features a real gold coin, marked ‘Veinte Pesos – 15 Gr. Oro Puro’ to one side, with an Aztec shield motif. To the obverse is the Mexican eagle, clutching a cactus in its talons, and holding a snake in its beak. Marked ‘Estados Unidos Mexicanos – 1959’. The coin is held in a bezel setting with rope trim, marked ‘14K’ to the bail. Total estimated weight, 12.71 dwt.
