A pair of decorative ceramic tiles after R.C. Gorman’s work titled Woman Kneeling and Leila at Rest. Produced by the A.R.T Co, Albuquerque, New Mexico each ceramic tile includes lithographic transfers after works by Navajo artist Rudolph Carl Gorman (Native American, 1931-2005 ). R.C. Gorman is internationally exhibited and is best known for his bold contemporary style paintings and often referred to as ‘the Picasso of American Indian Artists.’ These ceramic tiles are not recommended for trivet use and best suited for wall hanging or easel, with an epoxied hook for hanging.
