A Charles Frace Young Cougar signed print. This offset lithograph features a depiction of a cougar head in 3/4 profile. It is signed in plate, signed in pencil with personal inscription, and dated 10/12/84. Presented in a neutral double mat with wood frame and under glass. Charles Frace was born in 1926 in a small town in Pennsylvania. He is a self-taught artist who became one of the nation’s most sought-after wildlife artists. In 1992, Frace was recognized with an exhibit of his exquisite paintings at the National Museum of Natural History of the Smithsonian Institution. He passed away in 2005 leaving behind an extraordinary legacy as an artist and animal advocate.
