A Charles Frace Polar Bears signed limited edition print. This offset lithograph is a depiction of a mother polar bear and two young polar bears walking across an ice sheet. It is numbered 1674/2000 , signed in plate and in pencil to lower left corner. Presented in a silver painted wood frame, light neutral green blue mat, and under glass. Charles Frace was born in 1926 in a small town in Pennsylvania. He is a self-taught artist who became one of the nation’s most sought-after wildlife artists. In 1992, Frace was recognized with an exhibit of his exquisite paintings at the National Museum of Natural History of the Smithsonian Institution. He passed away in 2005 leaving behind an extraordinary legacy as an artist and animal advocate.
