A pair of ceramic containers. This pair includes a matching J.W. McKensie set of potatoes and onions containers that feature a black handled lid, breathing holes at the base of each container, and are marked ‘J.W. McKensie Country Family Cottage – Ideas for Kitchen Purposes – Pottery Stores, H.S. New England, 1910’ on the face and ‘Made in Portugal’ on the bottom. The potato container is larger than the onion container, other than that, they match.
Condition
- the lid for the onion container has a small chip and a crack that runs the length of the lid.
