A signed original oil on board painting by listed Indiana artist Glenn F. Bastian (1890-1966). A white-washed cottage stands next a bend in a river in this picturesque oil on board painting. The painting is titled _Farm Home’ and dated 1941 to the verso. Signed by the artist to the lower right and to the verso, the painting is displayed in a wooden frame with hanging hardware to the verso. Active as an artist in Indiana and Ohio, Bastian was known for his paintings of landscapes, birds, cottage scenes, and floral still lifes.
