A Japanese ‘Tetsubin’ cast iron tea kettle by Kafuh. This small lidded heavy cast iron kettle has a raised pattern of bamboo, cherry blossoms, bonsai, and pebbled texture cast into sides with rounded handle and metal mesh strainer. Maker’s mark is on bottom, in Japanese. Brand is Kafuh, type of material is ‘tetsubin’ (Japanese for cast iron). Never been used, but oxidation on the pebbling gives color and texture of a football.

Condition

Good, some oxidation on iron, still has maker’s tag attached, never been used
