A signed original watercolor on paper by well-listed Chinese artist Mun S. Quan (1917 – 2000). The image depicts a nebulous, abstracted pictorial space interrupted by two stark white representations of dwellings, appearing as though they are perched high atop mountains. Signed in paint by the artist to the lower right with artist chopmark. The painting is mounted in a beveled wood frame with a natural green stained finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

Condition

- accretion on and under non-glare glass. Frame is scratched throughout.
