A signed original watercolor by listed Connecticut artist and illustrator Jo Polseno (1924-1991). Captured in painstaking detail, this wildlife watercolor illustration features an image of a perched barn owl. Signed by Polseno to the lower center, the painting is displayed in a wooden frame with beige mat. Hanging hardware is located to the verso of the frame. A children’s book illustrator during 1950s and 60s, Polseno eventually became known for his highly realistic renderings of wildlife.
