Henry Ward Ranger Original Farmscape Watercolor
Item Details
An original watercolor on paper by listed American Tonalist, Henry Ward Ranger (1858 – 1916). The farmscape depicts various buildings in the midground with rolling clouds and green grasses. This piece is signed and dated (1881) in the bottom left corner. The item has various numbers marked on the back and a barcode hanging from string. This work is presented in a floated mount, under acrylic glass, and framed. Ranger was an important figure in American Tonalism and was known for his landscape and marine paintings; see link for more information.
