An antique Scandinavian bride’s box. The mid to late 19th century hand crafted wooden box features a lid with curved handle which has been notched to receive angled elements which secure it to the body. The body of the box is composed of multiple curved panels. The surface of the lid and body has an overall symmetrical geometric chip carved design.

Handle on lid is broken .
