A signed original oil on canvas painting by Philip Vernon. Trees laden with yellow and orange autumn leaves stand in the midst of a picturesque forest scene in this oil landscape painting. Signed by the artist to the lower right, the painting is displayed in a wooden frame with hanging hardware located to the verso. Born in 1930 in New York, Vernon began exhibiting his work at the age of 17 and studied art in New York and Paris.
