A vibrant flowering tree is pictured against a background of shimmering water in this colorful chalk pastel drawing. Signed by the artist to the lower right, the drawing is displayed in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging hardware to the verso. Newell studied art at the University of Massachusetts and is a member of the Indiana Artists Club and the American Impressionist Society.
