A signed, original oil on board painting by listed Indiana artist Bryan Tarlton (1899 – 1962). A dirt path is flanked by autumnal birch trees as it leads towards vibrant sunset in this colorful oil landscape painting. Signed by the artist to the lower right, the painting is displayed in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging hardware located to the verso. Born in Franklin, Indiana, Tarlton was known for his landscape paintings, particularly his paintings of forests interiors.
Condition
Minor wear present. There are scratches and signs of wear to the frame’s gold toe finish.
