A Continental provincial Empire side chair. The curved back chair with rosette carved top rail and lyre form splat is framed by curved rails. The drop in seat rests on an unadorned frame resting on tapered legs. The seat is upholstered in green fabric with a Napoleonic bee in gold.

Condition

Seat back break repaired with glue and damage due to inactive insect activity. Wear throughout frame consistent with age
