A Jean Goardere pewter wine funnel. This handmade wine funnel by renowned French pewtersmith Jean Goardere, whose factory had been open since 1938 until it closed in 2010, features a maple leaf design at the rim attached to a silver tone chain and round screen which fits inside the well of the funnel, over the stem. Below the leaf are sculpted grapes, and to one side the piece is stamped ‘Etain Fair Main, Jean Goardere, 95%.’
