A set of Guernica sketches reproduction prints after Pablo Picasso. Picasso (1881-1973) was a Spanish artist known for his works Les Desmoiselles d’Avignon, The Weeping Woman, and Guernica. Guernica was a political statement that shows the disparages of war caused by Nazi bombing of the Basque town of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War. Pablo Picasso produced 42 preliminary sketches for his masterpiece Guernica including the weeping woman, the minotaur, and the horse. These sketch reproductions have window mounts and come in a black box featuring a weeping woman sketch on the cover. The insert provides information on the history of the Guernica painting, the names of each sketch, and Picasso’s methods.
