A pair of original oil on panel paintings of steamboats by American artist Stan Stenten (Cincinnati, Ohio, 20th-century), titled Steamer ‘Embassy’ and Steamer ‘Andes’. Embassy depicts the steamer on the Ohio River in front of the city of Cincinnati circa 1860, as indicated to the verso. Andes depicts the steamer on the river in front of an unidentified town in the Midwest or South. Both paintings are mounted in beveled wood frames with sawtooth hangers on the versos.
