A signed limited edition aquatint etching with a la poupée coloring by well-listed printmaker Nancy Nemec (New Hampshire/Massachusetts/North Carolina, 1923 – 2003), titled Nocturne, dated 1984. The image depicts a lioness sleeping happily next to her lion mate as he proudly stands in the light of a full moon in their den. The print is numbered in pencil 226 in an edition of 350, titled, and signed by the artist to the lower margin. Mounted behind black and brown double mat, under glass in a beveled wood frame with a natural stained finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
