Item Details

A pair of mid-20th century three-color woodblock prints on paper. One of the prints depicts a wide rural landscape marked by a few tall silhouetted trees and a distant farmhouse. The second depicts a European street scene, seemingly German, with cobbled streets, stone archways, and tall Gothic-style windows. The prints are unsigned. They are presented behind glass in thin wooden frames. A wire is attached to the verso of the street scene print for hanging; the landscape is not wired to hang.

Condition

- frames, backing, and glass are all falling to pieces. Prints are slightly discolored and are warped; prints would benefit greatly from reframing.
