Vintage Rapidayton Extron Gas Pump

Item Details

A vintage Rapidayton gas pump with a light up glass Extron globe on top, which is manufactured by The Dayton Pump and Manufacturing Company in Ohio. This pump is comprised of a white rectangular body with a red top that stands close to six feet tall including the glass globe lamp on top that says ‘EXTRON’ with a red and blue stripe. The body of the pump features the original blue pump that fits in on the left side and is still attached by a rubber hose, as well as a window on the front that says ‘OCTRON’ with additional information including the readings for the purchase price and the number of gallons pumped.

• Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport and is located in the BASEMENT of a home, which requires going up one flight of stairs. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is responsible for, and advised to bring, appropriate assistance, vehicle, and any necessary tools to pickup.

Condition

- for decorative purposes only. Nicks and scratches to painted exterior. Wear consistent with age and use. Light on top worked at time of cataloging, however, further untested.
