An Empire style mahogany library table. The substantial, oval, mahogany table features a black painted wood top, with straight sides, which are finished in a lovely mahogany veneer. A recessed, dovetailed center drawer is fitted with a pair of round wood knobs. The tabletop is supported by a pair of octagonal, columnar legs, resting on an oval base with curved, square feet. No maker’s marks present.
