An original William Skilling oil on canvas painting. Skilling (1892-1964) was an American artist known for his depictions of dogs and other animals. This painting is on canvas and features two whippets one of which wears a collar marked, “V.A” and has a bone in his mouth. Both dogs are seen walking through the woods. The painting has been signed in the lower right corner by the artist and has been placed in a wood frame with a wire hanger on back.
