Limited Edition John Soderberg "Mermaid" Bronze Statue

A limited edition bronze sculpture titled Mermaid by sculptor John M. Soderberg, Ph.D (Arizona, 1950- ). It features a young woman with wavy locks falling down her back and chest and wearing only a pair of cut-off jean shorts. She is depicted sitting on a rock with one foot propped up and the other dipped into the ocean’s water. There is a clear lacquered finish to the statue along with color to her hair, shorts, and the other pieces of clothing which is not on her body, along with the sea water. It is signed in mold ‘1984 J. Soderberg 12/30 Sirhc’ with a foundry mark, and ‘Dedicated to Clarissa’. The sculpture is attached to an oval polished granite base with a beveled edge.
