An ice bucket in the shape of an archaic Chinese bronze. The piece is replicating the form of a lidded ding, an archaic food vessel used in rituals during the Shang and Zhou dynasties. It features leiwen cloud patterns and a taotie monster mask design. The black vessel with verdigris glaze is meant to imitate an aged bronze. A plastic insert is on the interior for waterproofing.
