An antique Victorian era fire screen. It features a heavily carved giltwood frame with a hand painted oil on board painting to the center. The painting features a pair of delicate birds resting on floral branches in warm blue, orange, white, brown and green tones. There is no maker’s tag but research shows the maker of this item is most likely F.B.M. Co from Hoboken, NJ.
